AVM Inspiration

AVM Inspiration is AVM's compact line: two streaming components and a speaker made to go with them. The CS 2.3 is an all-in-one streaming CD receiver with a slot-in CD drive, an ESS 9038 Q2M converter, an MM and MC phono input, HDMI ARC for a television, and 2 x 140 watts into 4 ohms. AVM says it took its cue from the flagship Ovation line. The AS 2.3 is the same idea without the CD drive, a streaming integrated amplifier with the phono input, HDMI ARC and the same power rating. Both run AVM's X-STREAM Engine.

The Audition CB 2.3 is AVM's own two-way bookshelf speaker: a 160 mm woofer and a fabric dome tweeter in a bass-reflex cabinet of high-density fiber material, rated at 88 dB sensitivity and 4 ohms. A height-adjustable third leg at the back tilts the cabinet upward, which AVM recommends when the speakers sit on a low board below ear level. The magnetic grilles lift off, and the front panel, in AVM's typical look, wraps around the cabinet edge.
