Two carbon fiber woofers in a bass reflex tower that reaches 17Hz in-room. The Perlisten A3t brings genuine full-range performance to a price point where most competitors are still relying on off-the-shelf drivers and generic cabinet designs. Perlisten engineers every transducer in-house, and the A3t benefits from the same design philosophy that earned their S-series THX Dominus certification. For a two-channel system or as front channels in a home theater, the A3t delivers 112.5dB peak SPL with the kind of low-distortion composure you'd expect from speakers costing twice as much.
Key Features of the Perlisten A3t
-
Dual 215mm Carbon Fiber Woofers: Two 8.5-inch drivers with rigid, lightweight diaphragms deliver fast, articulate bass with high output
-
35mm Teteron Composite Dome Tweeter: Perlisten's proprietary driver material in a custom waveguide for smooth, extended highs with wide dispersion
-
Bass Reflex Enclosure: Tuned port extends low-frequency response to 22Hz at -10dB in free space, reaching 17Hz in-room
-
112.5dB Peak SPL: Concert-level output capability with less than 3% harmonic distortion at 111dB
-
2-Way Crossover: Simple, phase-coherent crossover design keeps the signal path clean and maintains ±2.0dB linearity from 100Hz to 10kHz
-
4-Ohm Nominal Impedance: Pairs naturally with solid-state amplifiers rated for 4-ohm loads
Carbon Fiber Driver Technology

Every woofer in the A3t uses a carbon fiber diaphragm designed and manufactured by Perlisten. Carbon fiber provides an ideal combination of stiffness and low mass, which means the driver can start and stop quickly without flexing or distorting. This translates to bass that's punchy and defined rather than loose or bloated. At high output levels, the carbon fiber construction maintains its composure where conventional paper or polypropylene cones would begin to break up.
Teteron Tweeter and Waveguide
The A3t's high-frequency reproduction comes from a 35mm Teteron composite dome tweeter mounted in a custom waveguide. Teteron is Perlisten's proprietary diaphragm material, chosen for its controlled breakup behavior and extended frequency response out to 27kHz. The waveguide manages directivity so that the speaker's tonal balance remains consistent across a wide listening area, not just on-axis. Multiple listeners seated across a room hear the same coherent presentation.
Full-Range Bass Performance

The A3t's bass reflex design extends its frequency response to 31Hz at -6dB in free space. Place it in a typical room and boundary reinforcement pushes that down to approximately 26Hz at -6dB and 17Hz at -10dB. That's deep enough to reproduce the lowest notes in most music and the low-frequency effects in film soundtracks. For many rooms and listening preferences, the A3t eliminates the need for a subwoofer entirely. If you do want a sub for the lowest octave, Perlisten's subwoofer lineup integrates well.
