The Ultima Pre 3 covers five inputs with AV bypass and USB power. The Ultima Pre 2 adds eight inputs, dual headphone outputs, two selection buses, and six gain levels per input. The reference Ultima Pre adds three dedicated outputs, frequency EQ per channel, and drives headphones of any impedance. All use Chord's proprietary high-frequency switch-mode power supplies.
