The Symphonic in the Choral range is a dedicated moving coil design with four gain settings, six impedance options, and a Rausch slope rumble filter. By designing exclusively for MC cartridges, Chord optimized the gain structure and noise floor for the smallest signals in any audio system. Both phono stages use Chord's proprietary high-frequency switch-mode power supply. Designed and built in Kent, England.
