It is THX Ultra certified for LCR use and THX Dominus certified as a surround. Using one model everywhere also means one cutout size, 260 x 441mm, throughout the room.

The R4i-LCRS disappears into the wall: a 3-way sealed design with a three 26mm silk dome DPC-Array and one 165mm HPF woofer, needing a 260 x 441mm cutout and 4.0 inches of depth. The R4s mounts on the wall surface with its included flush bracket, needs no cutting, and angles its baffle 10 degrees toward the listeners.
