Grimm Audio LS1i USB Interface

The Grimm Audio LS1i is the USB bridge between your computer and the LS1 loudspeaker system. It delivers two-channel digital audio over USB at resolutions up to 384 kHz/24-bit PCM (DXD), DSD64, and DSD128, while also serving as the configuration and firmware update interface for the entire LS1 system. An AES/EBU output lets you route the same digital signal to an external DAC or audio meter.

Compatibility

The LS1i connects to the LS1c, LS1v2, and LS1a loudspeakers via a proprietary CAT5 cable carrying both audio and control data. It works alongside the LS1r remote controller, connecting through the LS1r's "Remote Control In" port. For streaming, pair the LS1 system with the MU1 or MU2.
