Wilson Benesch has engineered tonearms since 1990, when they introduced the first carbon composite arm in the industry. The Graviton Ti Armwand represents three decades of that research: a 12-inch design built from titanium and carbon nanotube composites using additive manufacturing techniques borrowed from aerospace. Available in 9-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch configurations, it integrates directly with the GMT turntable platform while also working as a standalone upgrade on compatible decks.
The Tessellate Ti cartridge family follows the same materials-science philosophy. The Ti-B, Ti-D, and Ti-S share a titanium chassis and carbon nanotube cantilever, with each model voiced for different tonal priorities and compliance requirements. Wilson Benesch manufactures every component in-house in Sheffield, controlling tolerances that most cartridge makers outsource. Read the Technology Guide for detailed engineering breakdowns of the Graviton arm and Tessellate cartridge family.
