REL Reference is REL's flagship series of audiophile subwoofers, and this page holds every current Reference model The Listening Room carries. Each one uses a sealed cabinet, a Pure Carbon Fiber driver and a Class AB/D amplifier, finished in twelve coats of hand-rubbed lacquer and built to stack into a Reference Line Array.
Two models make up the current range. The Reference No. 35 pairs a 12-inch driver with 900 watts and reaches 17Hz in room, and the Reference No. 36 steps up to a 15-inch driver and 1,000 watts for 15Hz. The earlier No. 31 and No. 32 now live in REL Discontinued, and the new models stack with them: the No. 35 with a No. 31, the No. 36 with a No. 32.
