The Oracle Audio Paris MkV is a spring-suspension turntable that delivers exceptional isolation through fiberglass leaf springs, the same material used in high-performance automotive suspensions like those in Corvettes. Available in six stunning piano finishes, the Paris offers a gateway to Oracle's renowned engineering at an accessible price point, with options to configure power supply and tonearm to match your needs.
Please Note: Oracle turntables are custom-built to order in Canada. Typical lead time is 8-12 weeks depending on configuration.

About Oracle Audio
Based in Quebec, Canada, Oracle Audio has been engineering precision turntables since 1979. Their founder, Jacques Riendeau, developed the fiberglass leaf spring suspension system that became Oracle's signature technology. Every Oracle turntable is hand-assembled and tested in their Canadian facility, with a focus on mechanical isolation, build quality, and long-term reliability.
Paris MkV Suspension Design
The Paris MkV uses a three-point fiberglass leaf spring suspension system. Unlike coil springs or elastomer suspensions, fiberglass leaf springs provide consistent compliance across a wide temperature range and do not fatigue over time. Each spring is precision-tuned to support the subchassis and platter assembly, isolating the stylus from footfall, airborne vibrations, and motor noise. The suspension is factory-set but can be adjusted for different tonearm weights.
Six Piano Finish Colors
The Paris MkV is available in six piano lacquer finishes: Black, Red, Blue, Titanium Grey, Yellow, and White. Each finish is hand-applied and polished to a deep, reflective shine. The piano lacquer process involves multiple coats and extended curing times, giving the Paris its distinctive premium appearance while protecting the acrylic plinth.
Power Supply Options
The Paris MkV is available with two power supply options. The Standard power supply provides reliable 33-1/3 and 45 RPM operation with manual speed change. The Turbo power supply upgrade adds enhanced voltage regulation, lower noise, and improved speed stability, resulting in tighter bass and more defined transients. The Turbo PSU is recommended for demanding cartridge and phono preamp combinations where power supply noise can become audible.
Oracle Paris Tonearm
The Paris can be ordered with or without Oracle's Paris carbon-fiber tonearm. The Paris arm features a one-piece carbon-fiber armtube, precision bearings, and a simple but effective VTA adjustment. It is factory-mounted and aligned when ordered with the turntable. Customers who prefer a different tonearm can order the Paris without an arm and have their preferred arm mounted to the pre-cut armboard (standard 9" mount).
Dust Cover
A hinged clear acrylic dust cover with aluminum hinges is available as a separate accessory. The dust cover lifts up and back to provide full access to the platter and tonearm during use. See our Oracle Dust Cover listings for pricing and compatibility.

How does the Paris MkV differ from the Delphi?
How does the Paris MkV differ from the Delphi?
The Paris uses fiberglass leaf springs in a semi-floating three-point suspension, a deliberately simpler system than the Delphi MkVII's fully floating tri-pedal towers and MVSS vibration control. It was designed with findings from the Delphi program and brings Oracle's isolation philosophy to a far more accessible price. Step up to the Delphi for the full suspension and its modular upgrade path.
Does the Paris MkV come with a tonearm?
Does the Paris MkV come with a tonearm?
Your choice. Order it with Oracle's Paris carbon-fiber tonearm factory-mounted and aligned, or order it without an arm and have your preferred 9-inch arm fitted to the pre-cut armboard.
Is the Turbo power supply upgrade worth it on the Paris?
Is the Turbo power supply upgrade worth it on the Paris?
The Turbo adds better voltage regulation, lower noise, and improved speed stability; the audible payoff is tighter bass and more defined transients. Oracle recommends it for demanding cartridge and phono preamplifier combinations. The standard supply is a fine starting point, and the Turbo Power Supply can be added on its own later.
Why is the Paris MkV built to order?
Why is the Paris MkV built to order?
Oracle hand-assembles every turntable at their workshop in Canada rather than pulling a finished unit off a warehouse shelf, and the piano lacquer finish alone involves multiple coats and extended curing time. If you are working toward a date, get in touch with Mike for current timing.
Can I get the Paris MkV in a custom color?
Can I get the Paris MkV in a custom color?
Yes. Beyond the six piano lacquer finishes (Black, Red, Blue, Titanium Grey, Yellow, White), Oracle's paint shop will match a color of your choice. They once matched a customer's 1973 Triumph TR6.
