VIABLUE™ NF-S6 AIR Interconnect Cables are built for systems that demand signal fidelity at a structural level. With a twelve-conductor array suspended around a central Air Pipe, the NF-S6 AIR avoids both capacitive charge buildup and inductive interference. The result is a cable that moves analog signal cleanly, without compression or coloration. Every design element is engineered to eliminate signal smear and retain harmonic structure across the full frequency spectrum.
Key Features
- Air Pipe architecture: Prevents capacitive storage and inductive distortion at the source
- 12-conductor array: 2x6 silver-plated OFC bundles with 19 strands per conductor
- Six-layer shielding: Three ALU-PET foil wraps and three contra-wound tinned OFC spirals
- Low capacitance: 93 pF/m for fast, undistorted analog transmission
- 24k gold-plated connectors: VIABLUE™ T8 RCA and XLR plugs ensure precise contact and long-term reliability
- Engineered form factor: Cobra braided sleeve, satin matte jacket, and machined NF-AIR splitter
- Hand-assembled in Germany: Each cable is built to exacting tolerances and individually inspected
What Makes the NF-S6 AIR Different
This cable doesn’t just shield. It separates. The internal geometry of the NF-S6 AIR uses a circular array of conductors positioned around a hollow core. That core, an air-filled silicone tube, acts as both an insulator and a structural spine. By keeping each signal conductor physically isolated, the cable reduces internal interference and minimizes energy storage. Capacitance is kept low through both materials and architecture. Magnetic field interactions are suppressed. Signal rise time improves. Transients arrive intact.
Six-Layer Shielding: 100% Interference Free
External noise rejection is not a feature. It is a necessity. The NF-S6 AIR uses a composite of three ALU-PET foil shields combined with three tinned copper spiral shields wound in alternating directions. This structure offers complete coverage and high phase-cancellation efficiency. It blocks EMI and RFI without raising capacitance or compromising flexibility.

- VIABLUE™ Airpipe System with 24+1 airpipes
- Low capacity of approx. 93 pF/m
- Complete and fast signal transmission
- No disturbing temporary hold of electrical charges within the cable
Air Pipe Technology
Each air pipe is a sealed, flexible silicone tube filled with ambient air. That air gap is not just empty space. It is an insulator with an extremely low dielectric constant. Surrounding each pipe are twisted silver-plated OFC strands. This design ensures each frequency path remains clean, uncompressed, and dynamically responsive. Physical separation is maintained across the cable’s full length regardless of bend radius or routing.

OFC Conductors with Silver Plating
Each signal path uses oxygen-free copper refined to a 0.001% oxygen content. These conductors are silver-plated to improve surface conductivity and preserve high-frequency extension. The stranded design balances conductivity with flexibility and provides a uniform signal path from source to load. This combination results in better phase accuracy and improved image stability at the preamp or DAC input stage.

Custom-Machined Components
The cable is finished with VIABLUE™ T8 RCA and XLR connectors, each plated in 24-carat gold. The NF-AIR splitter is not just decorative. It stabilizes the cable structure at the critical strain point near the connector body. Combined with the soft outer banding and Cobra woven sleeve, the assembly maintains both mechanical control and long-term durability in real-world setups.
Available Configurations
- RCA to RCA (Unbalanced)
- XLR to XLR (Balanced)
- RCA to XLR Male
- XLR Female to RCA

All versions retain the same internal geometry and materials. The signal path is simply adapted to match your equipment's input and output architecture. No compromises are introduced through conversion.
Additional Features
- Satin matte cable sheath: Adds damping and flexibility without bulk or stiffness
- Cobra braided outer sleeve: Provides abrasion resistance while staying easy to route
- NF-AIR splitter: Maintains conductor alignment and relieves strain near connectors

These features aren’t cosmetic. They contribute to signal stability, mechanical integrity, and ease of installation in real-world system layouts.
Made in Germany
Every NF-S6 AIR cable is assembled at VIABLUE™'s production facility in Germany. Conductors, shielding, terminations, and sleeving are all handled in-house. This controlled process ensures consistency across every cable and reflects a design philosophy focused on measurable results, not marketing language.

The Listening Room Difference
The Listening Room is a third-generation, family-owned business where service actually means something. When you call or email, you're usually talking to the owner, Michael Hoatson. He’s involved in every single sale and treats each system like it’s going into his own home. Whether you need help choosing the right configuration, want a second opinion, or need hands-on setup and delivery, Mike provides the kind of support the big-box stores can’t. Our clients come back because they know we get it right, and we stand behind everything we sell.
