About Unison Research

Unison Research, founded in Italy, has a long-standing reputation for crafting high-fidelity audio equipment that marries traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Each product reflects their passion for music and dedication to producing equipment that delivers both sonic excellence and visual beauty.

Sophisticated Tube Design

The SH employs a carefully engineered tube circuit, featuring an ECC83 valve in the input stage and an EL84 valve in the output stage, both operating in pure Class A. This configuration ensures minimal distortion and delivers a rich, coherent sound signature. The EL84 valve, in particular, is selected for its ability to drive the output transformer effectively, providing optimal electrical and sonic characteristics.

Versatile Connectivity

The SH is equipped to handle a wide variety of headphones, thanks to its linear circuit and adjustable sensitivity switch. This allows users to match the output to the specific needs of their headphones, whether high or low impedance. The two parallel headphone outputs also make it easy to switch between different headphones or share the listening experience with another person.

For connectivity, the SH includes a standard unbalanced RCA input for traditional analog sources. Additionally, the integrated USB DAC supports high-resolution audio formats, ensuring that digital audio is rendered with exceptional clarity and detail. The USB DAC employs a jitter-elimination circuit and galvanic isolation, delivering a pristine signal conversion that preserves the integrity of the music.
