Michell Hydraulic Reference Drive Belt
All Michell turntable drive belts are made of a proprietary rubber compound, designed to keep your vinyl revolving at precisely the correct speed, while also minimizing any vibration transfer from the motor to the turntable. The drive belts are made using ultra-precise moulds, then cryogenically treated to remove any excessive flash from the moulding process. This also ensures each belt has a smooth, grippy surface and that the belt section is consistent all the way around. This is essential to keep wow and flutter to an absolute minimum.
Compatibility
Michell cuts a separate belt for the Hydraulic Reference. This is that belt, and it fits the Michell/Transcriptors Hydraulic Reference and no other deck. It ships in Michell Engineering packaging labelled for that model.
Does not fit: any other Michell turntable. For the GyroDec/SE, Orbe/SE, TechnoDec and other legacy models, see the Michell Drive Belt.
