Matrix Audio RM4A Remote Control
The Matrix Audio RM4A is the replacement infrared remote for Matrix's second-generation element series and the X-SABRE 3, with direct input buttons, a volume rocker, and playback controls. Matrix lists it on its own store as the RM4.
Compatibility
The RM4A remote is designed for the following Matrix Audio products:
- element X2 Pure
- element X2
- element M2
- element i2
- element S
- X-SABRE 3
The X-SABRE 3 also works with the smaller RM3C, the remote Matrix supplies with it.
Controls
Power on/standby with a working/battery LED, a dimmer button, nine input buttons (not every source is active on every model), two programmable buttons you assign in the MA Remote App, a volume rocker, mute/unmute, a filter button that cycles through the filter types for the format playing, and transport controls for playback. If you run more than one Matrix device, the remote carries five preset address codes, set from the unit's Settings menu, so one handset does not control both.
