What is a Factory Second?
These LRS are newly sourced from Magnepan and include a mixture of new-old-stock, reworked speakers that did not pass original QC, refurbished returns from their at-home trial program, and new production using existing parts. Some may have cosmetic blemishes. Each speaker goes through the same rigorous sonic testing as new production at the Magnepan factory before being repackaged and dispatched to The Listening Room.
Warranty
Factory seconds do not come with a Magnepan factory warranty. The Listening Room warranties them for 90 days for any sonic defects.
