This is the replacement stylus for the Goldring E3 Moving Magnet Cartridge, with the same bonded super-elliptical diamond (0.3 x 0.7 mil) on an aluminum cantilever. The super-elliptical tip has a smaller front-to-back radius than an ordinary elliptical or spherical stylus, so it pulls more high-frequency detail from the groove. Goldring notes the main audible effect is less sibilance, most of all on loud vocal recordings.

Stylus only. The E3 cartridge body is not included.
