This is the replacement stylus for the Goldring 1012GX Moving Magnet Cartridge, fitted with the Gyger II nude diamond. The Gyger II is a fine-line elliptical with a 6 µm (0.2 mil) small radius, and its larger major radius fills more of the record groove than a normal elliptical tip. Goldring credits it with smooth, extended highs and low distortion, and polishes the diamond tip to improve tracking and reduce record wear.

The stylus carrier slots into the 1012GX body with a locating pin that holds it tight against unwanted vibration. Stylus only. The cartridge body is not included.
