I’ve never experienced such drive and soundstage depth from a belt-driven turntable before, and I attribute that to the Cyrus Audio TTP Turntable’s impressive mass, motor torque, and square belt.

The Cyrus TTP Turntable is a belt-drive turntable built around solid aluminum: a plinth machined from a single aluminum billet, an aluminum platter on a hardened steel axle, and a DC synchronous motor under digital control for very low wow and flutter. It plays 33 1/3 and 45 RPM and comes with its own lightweight tonearm but no fitted cartridge, so the cartridge on it is your choice.
The TTP's plinth and platter are both precision machined from solid aluminum, and the plinth itself comes from a single aluminum billet. The solid, damped aluminum chassis makes the plinth and platter extremely stable for vinyl playback.
The aluminum platter is suspended on a hardened steel axle that turns in an ultra-precise bearing with integrated lubrication, mounted into the solid aluminum plinth. The bearing is pre-lubricated at the factory, so no user lubrication should be required, and Cyrus includes replacement bearing oil. In the box you also get the platter mat, the belt, a cartridge alignment template, the power supply and power cables for the US, UK and Europe.
The TTP is a belt-drive turntable with an integrated DC synchronous motor, run from a custom-designed digital control circuit for exceptional speed stability and extremely low wow and flutter. Speed is electronic: the standby key on the front panel brings the turntable out of standby, then the 33 or 45 key selects the speed, and the platter reaches it within a few seconds. Separate 33 RPM and 45 RPM speed adjustments sit on the rear panel, alongside a ground terminal. The belt fits around the platter and into the motor pulley groove, and it self-aligns after a few turns of the platter by hand.
Cyrus designed the TTP's tonearm around an intelligent redistribution of mass, so it exhibits fewer points of resonance, and its horizontal and vertical bearing assemblies move almost without friction to gather more information from the groove. Tracking force is set on a dial marked 0 to 3, anti-skating (bias) is set on a slider, and a cueing device lifts and lowers the arm onto the record.
No. The TTP ships without a fitted cartridge, so you and your dealer choose the cartridge that suits your preference. Cyrus supplies a cartridge alignment template to help with fitting, and the arm can carry a moving magnet or moving coil cartridge, with your phono stage set to the matching MM or MC input. The left and right phono cables connect to the phono input of your amplifier or phono preamplifier, using the MM or MC input to suit your cartridge.
The TTP runs from its supplied power supply, and a separate port on the back accepts the optional Cyrus PSX-R2 as an upgrade. Power from the PSX-R2 is routed internally to the motor drive stage, giving the motor an even more stable, ultra-low noise supply. The turntable detects the PSX-R automatically, so no internal adjustments are required.
Yes. The supplied power supply accepts 90-264V AC at 50/60Hz, so it runs on standard US 120V power with no converter. It draws under 0.5W in standby and 20W at most.
The TTP is Cyrus's first turntable. The rest of the Cyrus range we carry is electronics: the Cyrus 40 PPA phono preamplifier, the Cyrus 40 Amp integrated amplifier and the Cyrus 80 AMP streaming integrated amplifier, or browse the full Cyrus collection.

The TTP is absolutely pitch-stable. Its background is ultra quiet and doesn’t intrude at all on the music being played.

This might be one of the more surprising arrivals in the field of vinyl replay, but it’s a very good one.

No cartridge is fitted, so you and your dealer choose the one that suits your preference. The arm can carry a moving magnet or moving coil cartridge, with your phono stage set to the matching MM or MC input. Tracking force is set on a dial marked 0 to 3 and anti-skating (bias) on a slider, and Cyrus includes a cartridge alignment template and a platter mat.
The TTP needs a phono stage: its left and right phono cables connect to the MM or MC phono input of your amplifier or phono preamplifier. We pair the TTP with the Cyrus 40 PPA, which has four turntable inputs, each independently configurable for moving coil or moving magnet cartridges, with adjustable MC gain, impedance loading and capacitance.

No. The TTP has two speeds, 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. Speed is selected electronically with the 33 and 45 keys on the front panel, and each speed has its own adjustment on the rear panel.
No. A dust cover is not in the box. Cyrus makes an optional clear acrylic dust cover for the TTP, sold separately, with welded seams, side hand-holds, an etched Cyrus logo and rear cut-outs so cables can pass through.
