Refined Strength, Designed for Real Speakers

From the outset, the FLS8 was built to drive real-world loudspeakers without hesitation. Its power supply begins with a 2000VA toroidal transformer that is enclosed in epoxy resin and isolated with ferromagnetic shielding. This transformer feeds a massive reservoir of 128,000μF across low-impedance capacitors, enabling clean and immediate power delivery across the frequency spectrum.

Rather than relying on traditional fuses, which can introduce resistance and affect dynamics, the FLS8 uses a microprocessor-controlled current sensor that protects the output stage while preserving sonic transparency. The result is an amplifier that reacts quickly, remains linear under load, and handles large musical swings without strain or coloration.

Class A Honesty and System Synergy

The gain stage operates entirely in Class A using a current-feedback topology. It is housed in a precision-machined aluminum enclosure and encapsulated in epoxy to maintain thermal consistency and shield it from vibration and electrical interference. The design provides wide bandwidth, fast transient response, and a level of low-level resolution that allows fine textures and timing to emerge naturally.

Each channel includes two ultra high-current power supplies and four independent stabilized power stages. Altogether, there are twelve separate power supplies within each amplifier. Ground paths are routed via ultra-pure copper bus bars and all signal boards use high-grade surface copper for minimal resistance and maximum stability.
