Unison Research Phono Stages

Unison Research phono stages bring the same tube expertise to vinyl playback. The SimplyPhono standalone preamplifier uses ECC83 dual triodes in a zero-feedback circuit topology, extracting every detail from your cartridge while adding the dimensionality and tonal richness that tubes deliver. An external power supply isolates the sensitive phono circuits from transformer noise, ensuring a black background for the quietest passages.

For Unico series amplifier owners, the internal Phono Stage Board offers an elegant alternative. This factory-installed option converts one line input to a dedicated MM phono input, adding vinyl capability without a separate chassis. Both solutions reflect Unison Research's understanding that phono playback demands the lowest noise, most careful circuit design, and highest quality components to preserve the magic encoded in your record grooves.
