Kora's modular system extends the capabilities of their PR 140 preamplifier through purpose-built plug-in modules. These drawer-format accessories slide into dedicated bays on the PR 140, adding functionality without external boxes, additional cabling, or signal degradation. Each module is designed and manufactured in Toulouse with the same aerospace-informed engineering standards applied across Kora's full product range.
The DAC Module adds four digital inputs with 32-bit conversion and a 768 kHz upsampling stage, turning the PR 140 into a complete digital hub. The Phono Module integrates a dedicated phono stage directly into the preamp, supporting both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges with configurable gain and loading. Both modules maintain Kora's signal-path philosophy: keep the path short, the components matched, and the engineering precise.
