Cambridge Audio subwoofers are compact, DSP-controlled active subwoofers engineered to add deep, controlled bass to small and medium systems without dominating a room. Rather than a port, each model pairs a forward-firing active driver with passive radiators, extending low-frequency output while keeping the cabinet small and the bass tight at higher volumes. Built in Britain and voiced to integrate with compact speakers rather than overwhelm them, they include variable crossover and phase controls so the low end blends cleanly with your main speakers.
The range spans the modular MSX subwoofers and the established Minx line. The MSX Sub 200 uses a 6.5-inch driver with dual passive radiators and a 200-watt amplifier, while the MSX Sub 300 steps up to an 8-inch driver and 300 watts for larger rooms. The Minx X201 and Minx X301 carry the same small-cabinet, big-bass philosophy. Every model offers an RCA input with pass-through and auto-on, making each easy to add to an existing amplifier or AV receiver.
