The Ruark R610 is a streaming music console that plays vinyl, radio, and hi-res audio through 75W per channel of Class D amplification and your choice of speakers. Same walnut cabinet and RotoDial design as the rest of the Ruark range, with a Burr-Brown DAC, built-in phono stage, and HDMI eARC. Connect a turntable, stream from Spotify or TIDAL, run your TV audio through it.
The R610 delivers 75 watts per channel through a Class D amplifier with an optimized switch-mode power supply. That is enough grip to drive bookshelf speakers like the Sabre-R to room-filling levels, and enough headroom for larger floorstanders. All digital sources pass through a Burr-Brown 32-bit 192kHz DAC, the same converter family Ruark uses in the R410 and R810.
Adjustable bass, treble, and subwoofer controls (plus or minus 6dB each) let you tune the system to your room. A switchable Loudness EQ automatically compensates at lower volumes, keeping bass and treble presence intact during late-night listening. Stereo+ widens the soundstage when speakers are placed close together.
The 5-inch high-contrast color TFT display is the largest in Ruark's 100 Series, rendering album artwork and station logos with sharp detail. Auto dimming adjusts brightness for nighttime use. All navigation runs through Ruark's RotoDial, a machined aluminum dial that controls volume, source selection, and menus with weighted, tactile feedback.
The rechargeable Bluetooth LE remote mirrors the RotoDial's control logic without requiring line-of-sight. Twenty global presets store your most-used stations and playlists.

Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect pull streams directly from each service at full quality. Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast add Apple Music, Amazon Music, BBC Sounds, and Deezer plus multiroom playback with other compatible devices.
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) provides high-bandwidth streaming over 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Ethernet offers a wired alternative. Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD handles wireless playback from any phone or tablet. Internet radio covers thousands of stations worldwide, DAB/DAB+ and FM with RDS handle broadcast, and UPnP/DLNA supports network-attached storage.
A moving magnet phono input with adjustable gain (2 to 7mV) connects a turntable directly, no external preamp needed. The USB-C port handles Ruark's R-CD100 CD transport and USB storage for hi-res playback (FLAC/AIFF/ALAC/WAV up to 32-bit 192kHz) plus MP3 and AAC.
HDMI ARC/eARC brings TV audio into the system. Optical input (24-bit 96kHz PCM) covers older digital sources, and stereo RCA line-in handles the rest. On the output side, a selectable line-out/pre-out via RCA feeds powered speakers or an external amplifier, while a dedicated mono subwoofer output (2.0Vrms) connects an RS1 subwoofer for deeper bass extension.

The R610 draws from the stereo music centres of the 1970s, scaled down to a compact H105 x W300 x D315mm footprint that fits on a shelf, desk, or media unit. The cabinet is finished in Fused Walnut veneer or Charcoal Lacquer, both with matching Walnut slat trim and facia. At 4.3kg, it is lighter than most integrated amplifiers and takes up less space than a stack of separates.

For a compact radio, the Ruark R1 MK4 shares the same design language in a single-speaker form. Step up to the Ruark R410 for a complete system with built-in speakers, or to the Ruark R810 Radiogram for 180W of Class AB amplification with a built-in subwoofer.
