Acoustic Energy’s design philosophy is built around low coloration, wide dynamic range, and system-friendly impedance. With the AE320², those goals are met and exceeded. The new mid and bass drivers use paper cones reinforced with natural coconut fibre, chosen for their balance of rigidity and damping. The result is a sound that is fast, detailed, and warm without sounding veiled.

High frequencies are handled by a newly developed 29mm soft dome tweeter that’s smooth, extended, and unfatiguing. It’s carefully integrated using a refined crossover network that splits duties at 240 Hz and 2.8 kHz, keeping phase coherence intact and delivering excellent imaging at any volume level.

The cabinet itself is equally refined. Using AE’s proprietary RSC™ construction, it sandwiches MDF layers with bitumen damping to create an inert structure that resists unwanted vibration. Combined with the aerodynamic slot port at the rear, this cabinet supports clean bass reproduction down to 30 Hz without boom or overhang.

Whether you listen nearfield or at a distance, the AE320² is tuned for real homes and real rooms. Its wide dynamic range and high sensitivity also make it ideal for modestly powered integrated amps, including lower-wattage tubes.

Designed to Fit Beautifully

The cabinet is available in a choice of real walnut veneer or newly developed silk-touch matte black or white finishes. Each version features a screen-printed Acoustic Energy logo along with color-matched trims and magnetic grilles for a cohesive, modern look. The AE320² also includes aluminum feet and spike covers, designed to blend into any home décor while being gentle on hard flooring surfaces.
