The SimplyPhono Power Supply is the required external power supply for Unison Research's SimplyPhono tube phono preamplifier. This dedicated power supply isolates the sensitive phono stage circuitry from power supply noise, delivering clean, stable voltage to the ECC83 tubes in the SimplyPhono. If you are purchasing the SimplyPhono, you will need this power supply for operation.

WHY EXTERNAL POWER?

Phono stages amplify signals at microvolt levels, making them extremely sensitive to power supply noise. By housing the transformer and rectification circuits in a separate chassis, Unison Research eliminates magnetic interference and conducted noise from the signal path. The result is a blacker background and more detail from your vinyl.
