Most calibration services are built for home theater: an automated correction pass, and done. Two-channel gets left alone, which is strange, because a pair of speakers in a real room is exactly the setup where placement and phase decide whether it works.
This is not an automated room-correction pass. Mike measures your system in your room with REW and a measurement microphone, then sets it by ear against what the measurements show. Your speakers and your subwoofers are treated as one system rather than separate boxes. If you run a pure two-channel system with no subwoofer, you get the same full workup. The measurements catch what ears miss, and ears catch what a graph cannot tell you. That second half is the part no software does for you.
What's Included:
- REW measurement of the full system from your listening position
- Speaker placement and toe-in worked out against the measurements, not a rule of thumb
- If you run subwoofers, their level, crossover and phase integrated with the main speakers
- Final setup by ear, with the music you listen to
- Mike's read on what the measurements mean for your room, including what is worth changing and what is not worth the money
