Fundamentals Done Right

While other cables rely on gimmicky materials to justify cost, the Commander focuses on physics. The "hot" signal conductor is composed of two twisted pairs of 14-strand, 36-gauge Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC). This geometry is chosen to maintain the speed and clarity of bass transients. A separate, dedicated ground path uses 32 strands of 42-gauge OFC to shunt noise away from the signal, ensuring that quiet scenes remain quiet and explosions hit with startling immediacy. 

A Connection You Can Trust

The Commander borrows a brilliant feature from its more expensive sibling: the reverse-threaded RCA connector. On standard cables, twisting the connector to remove it often unscrews the outer shell, leaving you with a loose barrel. REL’s custom "left-handed" thread design means that the natural twisting motion used to remove the plug actually tightens the shell, ensuring your cable remains intact and reliable for years of service.

Subwoofer cables often need to run long distances along walls or baseboards. The Commander features a rugged yet soft PVC jacket that is designed to lie flat and resist kinking. Whether you need a 3-meter run for a corner sub or a 12-meter run to reach the back of the room, the Commander is easy to install and easy to hide. With the option of a White jacket, it can disappear against light-colored trim, keeping your theater looking as good as it sounds.
