The SC15 Prisma MK2 uses a 32-bit ESS ES9028Q2M Sabre Reference DAC, the same chipset found in many dedicated high-end DACs. ESS patented HyperStream architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator deliver a dynamic range of 129dB and THD+N of -120dB, processing PCM audio up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD up to DSD256. The built-in headphone amplifier provides a dedicated output for personal listening, making the SC15 a complete desktop or bedside audio system when paired with quality headphones. Variable analog outputs (both RCA and 3.5mm) allow the SC15 to drive power amplifiers directly, while fixed-level outputs are available for connection to integrated amplifiers.

WiSA Wireless Technology in the SC15 Prisma MK2

WiSA (Wireless Speaker and Audio) support transmits 24-bit audio at 48kHz or 96kHz to compatible wireless active speakers and subwoofers, providing twice the resolution of CD audio without running speaker cables. During room EQ calibration, the speakers play pink noise for 60 seconds while you move the measurement device around your listening position. The system then applies correction filters that address room modes, standing waves, and frequency response irregularities.
