Into 8 ohms, yes: 120 watts per channel. Kora runs it in pure class A into 8 ohms; into 4 or 6-ohm speakers it switches to class AB so it can always deliver the right amplification. Its output is a pure class A transistor stage fed by Kora's Square Tube circuit, which Kora says pushes crossover distortion back to the point of clipping. The amplifier runs at nominal current, which gives its full power, or a more economical mode at half current. In Auto, which Kora recommends, it runs at reduced current and switches to high current automatically when the music demands it, returning smoothly after about ten seconds. The power switch likewise has an Auto position that wakes it when a signal arrives and returns it to standby after a minute of silence.

The CSA 2120 is Kora's large stereo class A amplifier, 120 watts per channel. The CSA 1200 uses the same large chassis and 560,000 microfarads of filtering for a single channel of 200 watts, so a stereo system needs two.

Kora says a class A amplifier warms up considerably at high current, so it needs a well-ventilated spot with air around, above and below. The CSA 2120 draws about 280 watts in normal operation and under 15 watts in standby. It measures 420 x 660 x 260mm and weighs 45kg.

Yes. Kora notes that its capacitors charge slowly over a few minutes after power-up, and that this takes longer on lower-voltage mains such as in the US and Canada. It has one RCA and one balanced XLR input per channel, with a gain control for each.
