ESS Sabre DAC and Digital Architecture

The 80 AMP uses a custom implementation of the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC with HyperStream IV dual-DAC topology. The entire digital stage was engineered in-house by the Cyrus team, not a reference design dropped onto a board. Digital inputs include asynchronous USB-B, two coaxial, two optical, and HDMI eARC, covering everything from a dedicated streamer to a TV. The DAC supports lossless formats up to 24-bit/192kHz, and the signal path from input to conversion has been tuned for minimum jitter and maximum resolution.

BluOS Streaming on the Cyrus 80 AMP

BluOS is built directly into the 80 AMP, giving you access to Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, TuneIn internet radio, and local network libraries over WiFi or Ethernet. The platform supports multi-room playback with other BluOS-enabled devices, and the app (available on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC) handles everything from browsing your library to grouping rooms.
