Description
Description
The Chord Electronics Choral Ensemble Stand is a purpose-built equipment rack designed to house and display the Choral range components. It holds up to four Choral units (any combination of DAVE, Prima, Etude, and Symphonic) in a single, stable structure that matches the aesthetic of the components themselves.
Key Features
- Accommodates up to four Choral-range components
- Integrated cable management to keep connections tidy
- Matched finish to complement the Choral product line
- Ventilation spacing between shelves for proper heat dissipation
- Stable, rigid construction to minimize vibration transfer between components
Why We Carry Chord Electronics
Chord Electronics has been doing digital conversion differently since 1989. While every other manufacturer buys off-the-shelf DAC chips, Rob Watts designs custom FPGA algorithms with tap lengths that dwarf anything from ESS or AKM. Their proprietary Pulse Array technology, MOSFET amplification stages, and high-frequency switch-mode power supplies are all designed and built in Kent, England. From the portable Mojo 2 to the flagship DAVE, every product runs code that Chord wrote themselves.
System Integration
The Ensemble Stand is designed around the specific dimensions of Choral components. Each shelf is spaced to allow adequate ventilation (the Etude in particular generates heat under load) while keeping the overall footprint compact. Cables route through the back of the stand, keeping the front presentation clean. The structure holds the weight of a full four-unit stack without flexing, and the base provides stable footing on any surface.
The Choral Range
A typical full Choral system on the Ensemble Stand might include the DAVE as DAC/preamp, the Etude for speaker amplification, the Symphonic for vinyl, and the Prima for source switching. Available in black, silver, or natural finish.
