Dual-Mono DAC with MQA Full Decoding
The A15 features a dual-mono AKM4490 DAC configuration designed for maximum channel separation and dynamic headroom. As a full MQA decoder, it extracts every nuance from high-resolution MQA files, while also supporting PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD up to DSD512. Smooth, refined, and free of digital artifacts, the A15’s DAC performance is at home in the finest systems.
Built-In Storage Without Limits
Two rear-mounted bays allow for user-installable 2.5" drives up to 8TB each. Whether you're building a massive local library or simply want backup alongside streaming, the A15 adapts to your needs. No preinstalled drives means you’re only paying for the storage you use.
Linear Power Supply with UPS
Powering the A15 is a fully linear supply with four dedicated toroidal transformers: one for the CPU, one for the FPGA, and two for the left and right DAC channels. This meticulous power architecture ensures silent backgrounds and stable operation, while supercapacitor-based UPS protects against sudden outages.
Ultra-Precise FPGA Clock
Jitter is reduced to near-zero thanks to an onboard FPGA-based clocking system. Sub-100 femtosecond timing accuracy ensures that every bit of data arrives exactly when it should, preserving the natural flow and coherence of the music.
Variable Analog Output & Digital Connectivity
With balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs, the A15 can connect to any integrated amp, preamp, or power amp. Built-in volume control lets it run as a standalone preamp. For added flexibility, it includes coaxial and optical inputs for external digital sources, plus a dedicated USB Audio output for external DACs.
Elegant User Interface
The front-panel IPS color display shows album artwork, artist names, and track titles in vivid clarity. All operations are controlled through Aurender’s Conductor app, an intuitive, stable, and responsive interface developed entirely in-house for seamless hardware and software integration.
Where the A15 Fits in the Aurender Analog Line
Every Analog Output Series server streams and converts in one box. Here is what each step up the line adds.
$3,900
The compact entry point: a dual-mono AKM4490REQ DAC with HDMI ARC and Bluetooth.
$7,500
Adds dual drive bays for up to two 8TB drives on an AKM4490 DAC.

$10,500
Moves to dual-mono AKM4490 DACs and a linear supply with four toroidal transformers.
$19,000
Steps up to dual-mono AK4497 DACs and the same analog output stage as the A30.
$24,000
Dual-mono AK4497 DACs plus a built-in CD ripper and 10TB of factory storage.
$25,000
The only quad-DAC model in the series: four AKM4499EX chips, R2R volume, HDMI eARC and I2S inputs, three headphone outputs. 300 units worldwide.
Choose the A30 if ripping CDs into built-in storage matters most; the A1 15th Anniversary is built around the conversion stage itself. Browse the line in Aurender Analog Output Servers or everything from Aurender.
The Listening Room Difference
The Listening Room is a third-generation, family-owned HiFi shop built on trust, knowledge, exceptional service, and decades of experience. Owner Mike Hoatson is personally involved in almost every sale. That means real advice, real inventory, and a direct line to someone who knows what great sound should be. When you order the Aurender A15 from us, you’re not just getting a box in the mail, you’re getting the kind of partnership that helps you build the system of your dreams.
No Ethernet Run Near Your System?
The Aurender A15 connects to your network over wired Ethernet. If there is no network port near your rack, the NETGEAR EX6120 WiFi Range Extender plugs into a nearby outlet, joins the WiFi network you already have, and gives the Aurender A15 a wired port to connect to.
