The Matrix Audio Tempo DX Rack is a custom isolation rack designed in collaboration with Audio Bastion specifically for Matrix Audio components. Each shelf uses Audio Bastion's patented X-shaped isolation architecture, stainless-steel positioning cones that lock into Matrix Audio device feet, and a dual-stage damping system with silicone air-cushion layers to block structural resonance and keep your components stable during touchscreen and button operation.

Compatibility

The Tempo DX Rack is available in two sizes. The DX (Standard) fits the Matrix Audio T Series, including the TS-1, TT-1, and future T Series models. The DX+ (Large) fits the N Series, including the NT-1, ND-1, NA-1, and SC-1.

Each size is sold as individual shelves. The Base variant is the foundation tier with stainless-steel spikes and isolation footers. The 13cm Tier variant adds a shelf level with 100mm (approx. 4 inches) of clearance between tiers. The modular, tool-free design lets you stack up to four levels for a complete system.

Which Tempo DX size fits my Matrix Audio components?

There are two sizes matched to the two Matrix component families. The DX (Standard) is sized for the T Series, including the TS-1 and TT-1. The larger DX+ is sized for the N Series, including the NT-1, ND-1, NA-1, and SC-1. The stainless-steel positioning cones lock into the matching component's feet.

Is each shelf sold separately, and do I need a base plus tiers?

Yes, the Tempo DX is sold as individual shelves so you build it to your stack. Start with a Base shelf, which is the foundation tier with stainless-steel spikes and isolation footers, then add 13cm Tier shelves to add levels. You can stack up to four levels in total.

How much clearance is there per tier, and will my components fit?

Each tier gives 100mm of spacing, which is about four inches of clearance per level. That suits the Matrix T and N Series components the rack is designed around. If you are stacking taller gear, plan your tier count against that 100mm-per-level spacing.

Do I need tools to assemble the Tempo DX?

No. The Tempo DX uses a tool-free modular design, so the shelves and isolation hardware assemble and stack by hand. That also makes it easy to add another tier later as your system grows.
