After six years of focused development, the Vienna Acoustics Mozart Infinity arrives as a true all-in-one active system that unifies streamer, DAC, amplification, and loudspeaker engineering inside a single pair of floorstanders. It is Roon Ready and ships with a three-month trial, and it supports TIDAL Connect in high resolution, Qobuz via Roon, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, plus Airable radio and podcasts. Connect via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, choose your service, and the speakers handle the rest with native-rate processing for transparency and timing accuracy.

Key Features of the Vienna Acoustics Mozart Infinity

  • All-in-One Active System: Streamer, ESS Sabre DAC, amplification, and loudspeaker engineered as a matched whole, eliminating the need for separate components
  • Six Years of R&D: Ground-up platform designed for high-resolution streaming and precise amplification
  • Digital Core: Quad-core ARM processor with native-rate audio processing for low noise and low jitter
  • Reference DAC: ESS ES9038Q2M conversion for detail retrieval and low distortion
  • Hypex Class-D Amplification: 2x 125W Hypex stereo amplifier, amplified symmetrically from front to end for channel balance and control
  • Driver Technology: 1.1" hand-coated silk dome tweeter and dual 6" composite Flat X4P Spider-Cone woofers
  • Bass System: QB3 impulse-optimized alignment with rear bass reflex loading, reaching 30 Hz
  • Crossover Topology: 2.5-way network with 1% MKP capacitors, 0.7% air-core coils, and metal film resistors
  • Streaming and Control: Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz via Roon, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Airable radio and podcasts, iOS and Android control app
  • Connectivity: HDMI eARC, optical, coaxial, RCA analog, XLR balanced analog
  • European Build: All-European platform from streamer and DAC to amplification, drivers, and handcrafted cabinetry

Mozart Infinity Architecture: Streamer, DAC, and Amplification in One System

Mozart Infinity integrates the entire digital front end and amplification inside the loudspeaker pair. The primary speaker manages streaming, clocking, conversion, gain, and control, then links to the secondary speaker via a dedicated Vienna Acoustics loudspeaker cable. This architecture eliminates interconnect variability, preserves channel symmetry, and ensures the amplifiers see the exact drivers they were voiced for. The result is a system where every component was designed to work together from the start, not assembled from best-available separates.

Digital Core and Conversion

At the heart of the Mozart Infinity is a quad-core ARM processor that runs native-rate audio paths for minimal resampling. Digital-to-analog conversion is handled by the ESS ES9038Q2M, selected for its low noise floor and excellent linearity. The result is fine microdetail with stable imaging and low-level resolution that holds together at realistic listening levels.

Streaming and Control

The platform is Roon Ready and includes a three-month trial to get started. High-resolution services include TIDAL Connect and Qobuz via Roon, with Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, and Airable radio and podcasts on tap. Network connection is available through Ethernet or Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. A dedicated app for iOS and Android manages input selection, setup, and firmware updates, with onboard capacitive controls for volume and power.

Mozart Infinity Driver System: Flat X4P Spider-Cone and Silk Dome

The high-frequency unit is a 1.1" hand-coated silk dome tweeter chosen for low resonance and benign breakup. Below it, two 6" composite Flat X4P Spider-Cone woofers provide piston control and consistent dispersion through the crossover region. The Spider-Cone geometry and composite layup suppress modal energy while keeping moving mass in check, which supports clean midbass transients and unforced dynamics. These are the same driver materials found in Vienna Acoustics' passive Concert Grand series, including the Beethoven Baby Grand Reference and Concert Grand Reference.

Cabinet and Bass System

The slender cabinet is tuned as a QB3 impulse-optimized system with a rear reflex duct. Wall thickness, brace density, and internal volume are set to support the chosen alignment while maintaining low radiation from the panels. The result is bass that reaches to a rated 30 Hz with control and speed that integrates naturally in real rooms.

Crossover and System Integration

The 2.5-way network uses 1% MKP capacitors, 0.7% air-core inductors, and inductance-free metal film resistors. Parts tolerances and layout preserve left-right matching. Because amplification and drivers are fixed as a system, voicing can be more exact than with a mix-and-match stack, which is a key reason this platform delivers scale with coherence.

Connectivity

Primary inputs include HDMI eARC for television integration, optical and coaxial digital, plus RCA analog and XLR balanced analog. That makes it simple to add a phono stage, a legacy CD transport, or a media player while keeping streaming as the daily driver.

Mozart Infinity vs. Mozart Signature SE: Active vs. Passive

Vienna Acoustics offers two Mozart-named speakers. The Mozart Signature SE is a traditional passive floorstander that requires an external amplifier, and its driver complement differs (it uses a single 6" midrange and a single 7" woofer in a three-way configuration). The Mozart Infinity is a fully active system with built-in streaming, DAC, and amplification, using dual 6" woofers in a 2.5-way topology. The Infinity replaces a full rack of components. The Signature SE is the choice for listeners who already own amplification they love and want Vienna Acoustics' voicing in a compact floorstander.

Explore the Vienna Acoustics Collection

Mozart Infinity represents Vienna Acoustics' vision for an integrated active system. For listeners who prefer passive speakers, the Haydn SE Signature brings Spider-Cone technology to a compact bookshelf format. The Baby Grand Reference and Concert Grand Reference offer the Concert Grand series voicing in passive floorstanders. And the Klimt series (The Music, The Kiss, Poetry) is the flagship range with coincident driver technology.
