A fully active 120W Class D amplifier rated at 0.02% THD powers the drivers. Adjustable bass and treble controls (plus or minus 6dB) let you compensate for room acoustics, and the switchable Stereo+ mode widens the image when the R410 sits against a wall. Signal processing runs through a Burr-Brown 32-bit 192kHz DAC, the same converter family found in dedicated separates costing several times more. The matching ADC handles analogue inputs with equal precision.

R410 RotoDial Controls and Display

Ruark's RotoDial sits at the center of the R410, completely redesigned for the 100 Series. The machined aluminum dial controls volume, source selection, and menu navigation with smooth, weighted rotation. It is the kind of physical interface that makes you reach for the unit instead of your phone. The included rechargeable Bluetooth LE remote mirrors the RotoDial's control logic without requiring line-of-sight, and twenty global presets store your most-used stations for one-touch access.

The 4-inch color TFT display presents album artwork, station logos, and menus with sharp detail and auto-dimming. Ruark oriented it vertically, which makes browsing feel intuitive.

R410 Physical Inputs

A moving magnet phono input with adjustable gain (2 to 7mV) connects a turntable directly, accommodating high-output and lower-output cartridges alike. The USB-C port handles Ruark's R-CD100 CD transport and USB storage for hi-res playback (FLAC/AIFF/ALAC/WAV up to 32-bit 192kHz) plus MP3 and AAC.

HDMI ARC/eARC brings TV audio into the system, a proper upgrade over any soundbar at this price. Optical input (24-bit 96kHz PCM) covers older TVs, and a stereo RCA line-in handles anything else.
