The Major DAC

Grimm Audio's Major DAC is the product of three years of intensive R&D, balancing the strengths of multi-bit, single-bit, and PWM designs. The result is a 1.5-bit PWM DAC with an 11th-order noise shaper that operates in perfect stability. High-frequency noise is removed with a 16-tap FIR DAC topology, preserving signal purity across the entire dynamic range. At the input stage, Grimm's "Pure Nyquist" digital filter runs at 128x base rate, setting the stage for unprecedented micro-detail and resolution.

Unlike conventional DACs, the Major DAC achieves flawless noise shaping without introducing the harshness or instability often associated with high-order designs.
