At its core are twelve Sanken 130-Watt high-frequency output transistors, arranged in a "triple" high-current output stage. This immense reserve of power allows the Solis to double its output into 4Ω loads, providing the grip and speed necessary to reproduce deep bass transients and complex orchestral crescendos with zero compression or strain.

Symmetrical Perfection

To achieve the lowest possible distortion and the highest linearity, the Solis employs a fully symmetrical circuit topology. From the cascoded differential input amplifier to the driver stages, the signal is balanced and protected from interference. The low-level driver stages are fed by a regulated, symmetrical tracking power supply with a low-noise voltage reference, ensuring that the delicate input signal is amplified with absolute purity before it reaches the power stages.

Dual-Mono Power Architecture

Great power requires a great foundation. The Solis is powered by two custom-designed, low-noise 330VA toroidal transformers—one for each channel. These are backed by a colossal 40,000µF of Rega K-Power smoothing capacitors per side. This dual-mono approach ensures that heavy demands in one channel never affect the performance of the other, preserving the stereo image's width and stability even during the most demanding musical passages.
