Disc playback begins with the transport, and Audia Flight didn’t settle. The FLS20’s top-loading mechanism was designed from scratch, with a singular focus on eliminating vibration. All mechanical movement is decoupled from the circuitry and isolated from external noise. The result is precision disc reading with none of the smearing or instability that can plague high-res audio retrieval.

Signal conversion is handled by a pair of flagship Sabre ES9038PRO DAC chips, configured in full dual mono topology. Each DAC is dedicated to a single channel, with independent digital paths and fully discrete analog output stages. The DACs are clocked by a Crystek CCHD-950, one of the most stable low-noise master clocks available today, further reducing jitter and improving dynamic response.

To ensure absolute fidelity, all digital signal processing is powered by ten individually regulated low-noise power supplies. These isolated circuits ensure that timing, decoding, and conversion happen without interference or cross-talk. Whether you’re playing an SACD or streaming high-res PCM or DSD files through the USB input, the FLS20 preserves clarity and timing with extraordinary discipline.

Analog Performance, Audia Style

The output section is built in true Audia Flight tradition: fully discrete, fully Class A, and fully balanced. Current-feedback topology provides outstanding stability into a variety of loads. The analog stage is fed by a dedicated 80VA toroidal transformer, isolated from both digital and control circuits.

Output can be configured as fixed or variable, making the FLS20 a legitimate front-end controller in high-performance systems. Combined with the optional streamer card, this player can function as a standalone digital hub capable of reference-level playback from physical media or digital files.

The chassis is a work of industrial art. From the thick aluminum faceplate to the rigid internal architecture, every element is tuned for silence, thermal performance, and long-term durability. The CD/SACD mechanism loads through the top, offering a satisfying tactile experience and precise disc handling.
